Holidays
What a busy, fun, filled few weeks!!!  We have been working so hard and I am
pleased to say EVERYONE is showing such great progress!  KEEP IT UP!!
We have been having a little friendly competition between the girls and boys
on counting to 20.  Right now the girls are winning!  So boys, practice as
much as possible so you can give those girls a run for their money!  :)  It is
all in fun.  We are starting to match beginning sounds with the correct
letter, patterns, and this week musical instruments.

We have been working really hard on learning our letters and numbers as
well as
learning how to be good friends.  It would be most helpful if you
could help reinforce the rules at home too.
 Also practicing counting
items
and drawing shapes (circle, square, and triangle) would be very
helpful!
We have been learning the Days of the Week.  Everyone is doing great but
practice is the key.  Next Monday we will have a little "quiz" on the days so
study, study.  Just a heads up, after Christmas Break we will begin the
Months of the Year.

This week I am going to be sending home a "Count Down to Christmas"
sheet.  This will be a great, fun way to practice number identification and
counting.  Color in one decoration on the tree to count down the days until
the Holiday.  This is just a fun way to practice and by no means is
homework.  It is optional.

*^*^*Please Remember to Send in Your Empty Toilet
Paper and Paper Towel Tubes

Also when you are doing your holiday food shopping if you could pick up a box/package
of snacks that would be great!  We are down to just popcorn and graham crackers, so a
little variety would be nice, like goldfish, cheerios, cheese-its, pretzels, etc.

*If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email.  I try to check it often.  It
is the best way to contact me.

Please remember to check out the class Wish List.

Don't forget to check out the class wish list for items we
need in the class.
I will be adding to it as the year goes on.  If you know of any great
sites for kids, please email me so I can add them to the list.
